Cookie notice
How cookies work on evolution-digitalnet.digital and how you can accept or reject optional ones.
Last updated: 1 June 2026. This notice should be read with our privacy notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be essential for basic functions or optional for measurement. Similar technologies such as localStorage may store your consent choice.
Types we use
Essential. Required to deliver pages securely and remember cookie preferences you set via the banner. These do not require consent under PECR where strictly necessary.
Analytics. Optional cookies that help us understand which pages are visited. They are set only if you choose Accept on the banner. Rejecting them does not block browsing, forms, or programme information.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| evolution-digitalnet-cookie-consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until cleared (localStorage) | Evolution Digitalnet |
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for aggregate analytics (only if accepted) | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics (when enabled) |
| _ga_* | Persists session state for analytics (only if accepted) | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics (when enabled) |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use the banner on your first visit to Accept or Reject optional cookies. To change later, clear site data for evolution-digitalnet.digital in your browser, then reload the page to see the banner again. You can also block cookies in browser settings; essential storage for consent may still be requested on return visits.
Third-party cookies
If analytics are enabled after consent, Google may set cookies as listed above. Embedded images hosted by third-party image networks may receive standard HTTP request data; they are not used by us as advertising trackers.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies does not remove access to programme pages, forms, or curriculum content. Blocking all cookies in your browser may also clear your stored preference and cause the banner to reappear.
